The National Congress of Local Authorities of Georgia was held on November 28.
The National Workshop on “Decentralization and Citizens’ Participation in Georgia – Achievements and Challenges” took place on March 29, 2012. The workshop was organized by the National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia (NALAG) with the support of the USAID/“Good Governance in Georgia (G3)” program.
Meeting of the Executive Board of the NALAG was held on February 17. The Executive Board summarized activities implemented in 2011 and adopted action plan and budget for 2012.

On november 15-16 conference "Role of Municipalities in Regional Development: Achievements and Challenges" was orginized by the National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia.

The National Delegation of the NALAG will participate in the 21st Local and Regional Authorities Congress Session, to be held from 18 to 20 October 2011 in Strasbourg.

On October 10-15, Local Democracy Week will be held in Georgia. European Local Democacy Week is an annual European event where local authorities from all the 47 member states of the Council of Europe organise public events.
